About the project

We have applied complex customized glazing systems and the steel bearing structure for the residential conservatory and greenhouse. It is really hard to grow tropical plants in northern areas due to constantly varying weather conditions – very uneven sunlight exposure, lots of snow, temperature changes from -20°C up to +30°C throughout the year. As the location of the conservatory is next to public spaces, privacy issue had to be solved without losing the critical features of the glass:

  • High energy efficiency
  • Moisture control and to avoid condensation
  • Sun control for the best microclimate to grow tropical plants
  • Snow Melting function – heated glass
  • Glass reflection for the privacy
  • 17 automatic openable triangle-shaped windows
